Ski-O 2009 Training Camp Information (Amended on the 6th of October, 2007)
Ski-O WOC 2009 Organizer is happy to announce the Training Camp Information as follows.
We believe it will be a precious opportunity to gain previous knowledge about the condition of snow, climate, and accommodation in the Ski-O 2009 venue.
XC courses in the embargoed area are also available for training session.
We are looking forward to welcoming many participants to this event!

How to get there?
The nearest airport is New Chitose (Sapporo).
All Nippon Airways and Japan Airlines International operate domestic flights from Narita International Airport (Tokyo).

There is a shuttle bus service from New Chitose airport to Rusutsu Resort Hotel (App. 2 hours.)
Please note that pre-booking is necessary. We will send you the bus timetable and bus booking form on request.
Car hire is also available at New Chitose Airport. Prices vary depending upon the type of vehicle.

♦ General information
1. Training session
Ski tracks and controls are set in Rusutsu Resort area during the dates above.
10 maps will be given to each participant.
In addition, some XC courses in the embargoed area and Otaki village (15km from Rusutsu) are also available for training.
Shuttle bus service to Otaki village will be operated on some days with additional cost (around ¥2,000 expected.)
A local Ski-O competition is to be held on March 15-16 in Rusutsu Resort area.
Entry fee: ¥3,000 /each day
2. Waxing area
The gymnasium in Rusutsu resort will be offered for waxing. Each country should have 1 ~ 2 outlets and a table.
Please note that the voltage in Japan is 100V and wall outlet type is Japanese JIS 8303 plug.
You will require appropriate plug adapters and voltage converter.

¥5,000 (including 10 maps for training)
♦ Accommodation fee
The official accommodation is arranged at Rusutsu Resort Hotel. The hotel is to be used for Ski-O WOC 2009 as well.
Prices vary on choice of accommodation type (App. ¥8,000 to ¥14,000/night, including breakfast & dinner)
